Big Emotions and Trauma Dealings – Spanish
This 60-minute presentation explores the impact of trauma and how traumatic experiences can affect individuals differently. Participants will gain an understanding of common sources of trauma and stress, the effects of trauma on the developing brain, the body’s fight, flight, and freeze response, and the role emotions play in the healing process. The session provides practical, trauma-informed strategies and resources to help parents, caregivers, educators, and community members build resilience, respond with empathy, and support youth and families.
