Our coalitions add additional resources to the communities we provide services to. They are those who are providing continued community education and support.
Mesa Prevention Alliance
About Us
Every day a youth tries substances for the first time, even before they turn 13 years of age. There are many reasons why youth decide to use drugs and alcohol including being bored, stressed, and dealing with strong emotions. What we know is that if WE interact with youth at an early age and engage the community with prevention-based education, we can greatly impact the future of our youth in the Mesa community! Let’s work together on educating our youth, their families, and friends by providing them with the tools and resources to build resiliency and positive coping skills. The Mesa Prevention Alliance meets on the third Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 AM of every month.
For more information or to join our next hybrid meeting, please e-mail info@mesapreventionalliance.org.
